17 People Indicted In North Texas Heroin Case
As a result of three recent heroin deaths, 17 teens and young adults have been indicted for distributing heroin around the Flower Mound area. In the last year, three people have died from heroin overdoses.
Flower Mound officials was investigating heroin sales in the area and involved the Drug Enforcement Agency. The defendants have been charged in federal court and they could face up to 40 years in federal prison. Some have have been charged with
possession with intent to distribute.
In addition to the arrests concerning these individuals, there were arrests made on other drug violations, along with gun crimes. Many of these involved a felon in possession of a
firearm.
