Prosecutors have spent months working on a case against a man that they believe is a hit man for a Mexican drug cartel. He is just one of 34 people that have been brought up on indictments over the past few months in connection to drug-related activities in both Mexico and the United States. Based on the extensive reports created by undercover agents, G.C.C., the former hit man, has been brought up on several charges in connection to drug trafficking. The prosecution believes that he has been working as a hit man for the cartel since 2005. Police say he was given orders by the cartel to kill several people in both Texas and Mexico.
The once-elusive hit man has been formally charged with drug conspiracy, federal racketeering, and several weapons charges. This is the second time that he has been brought up on these charges as he went before a jury in 2010, but after a deadlock situation, the judge declared a mistrial. In Texas, drug trafficking can lead to jail time if people are convicted. If you have been charged with trafficking or another type of drug crime,
